Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving, Everyone! I sincerely hope you were all able to enjoy a wonderful time with family and friends these last few days!

I’ve especially enjoyed the chance to spend some quality time with my sister, Hannah, and my littlest niece, Claire!

They live some distance away, but were able to come and stay for a few days over Thanksgiving, which has been a real treat! πŸ˜„We even got a chance to peruse the Christmas Tree Farm together…

Hannah, Claire, Mom, & an adorable little Christmas Tree!

… and celebrate Claire’s birthday with Cousin Vera and Aunt Annelies!

Happy Birthday, Claire!

Cousins play time! Vera and Claire are still just a tad too little to actually play together yet… but playing nicely close-by is totally awesome! πŸ˜‰

I’m also incredibly grateful for being able to live my dream of designing, writing, and sharing my knitting patterns, and for the support you all have shown me! A sincere and heartfelt thank you to each and every one of you! πŸ™‚

So how was your Thanksgiving? Did you get to spend some time with family? What are you grateful for?

Happy Knitting with Love,

~Sarah

  1. What fun you had. Yes, my ohana is up in San Francisco and in Daly City so we’re all Bay Area. We always get together at my mum’s house – my parents; my brother, SIL, & their 3 kids; us four; and my paternal grandmother came also. It’s fun to see my niece and two nephews who are all toddlers. My girls help take care of them. My youngest nephew who’ll be one in January had fun yanking on my necklace since it was shiny and had many pieces that moved about; I told him it was okay if he broke it since I had only paid $7 for it at Target years ago, LOL.

    1. Aw! That’s awesome! Sounds like you had a wonderful time! Children do liven up life, don’t they?!! 😊 It’s really great to have family close enough to spend time with like this! I am hoping that my sister and her little fam will actually move out here with the rest of us some day! I know she wants to, it’s just a lot of pieces have to come together to make it happen!

      1. Hi. It is summer here, and we are finally getting some good rains. Three days now, mainly in the afternoon / evenings. We need the rain, and are very grateful for it. πŸ™‚
We do not have Thanksgiving here, but have other similar days. πŸ™‚
I am looking forward to December and the holidays.
Have a great weekend, it is nearly here, and keep warm and cosy too. πŸ™‚
